Arts Week

Last week Beaconsfield School had an Arts Week. There was different varieties like: art, dance as well as music. Mrs Stevenson helped Room 4 with art, Marlene Hanson tought Room 4 as well as 5 some line dancing moves and Mrs A tought Room 4 how to play some instruments. With Mrs Stevenson for art we drew a drawing of Gallipoli in action. With Marlene Hanson we learned some awesome line dancing moves with Room 5 and Room 4 and Mrs A tought Room 4 to play the guitar as well as the marumba and the Zylaphones. Everyone had a awesome time!

The Breakfast Show

Last Friday Tamati Coffey as well as Mark Ellis came to our school. We had to get up around 5:30am and were there at around 6:30am. For breakfast we had waffles as well as bacon and bread. Tamati Coffey interviewed Dougal about his huge back pack. He also watched Marlenes choir and he joined in with Jump Jam. Everyone hsd a blast!

Book Week, Patiti Point and Breakfast News.

Book Week

On week 2 of the term we had a book week.On Friday, everyone dressed up as their favourite book character. People won prizes because they put a lot of time into their costumes. Some of the people were: George Squire (as Charlie off Charlie And The Chocolate Factory), Harper (as Captain Underpants) and Molly, Maddy and Olivia W as Cat In The Hat as well as Thing 1 and 2.

Patiti Point

All of Beaconsfield School went to Patiti Point last Friday to pick up rubbish like: lolly wrappers, wire off fishing rods, Bottles as well as cans and many other things. Hamish R was in the newspaper with a big bag full of rubbish.There was a lady taking photos of us hard at work with a big camera.

Breakfast News

This Friday Tamati and Mark Ellis are coming to our school to interview some of us. Oli Anderson, Henry Thomson and Ella Reeves are going to show some art work. Lots of other things are happening e.g the Choir etc.
